Pawsitive Beginnings takes pride in being a dog training company that encompasses all your pet needs. It is our belief that there is no breed of dog(s) that cannot be trained to be the ideal pet to join your family. Unlike your standard services, our leash training service provides both home and public training sessions to ensure that as an owner, you have a training strategy for your dog in any environment. We currently service clients in Durham, Raleigh, and the surrounding Triangle area.
Meet your Trainer:
Originally from New York City , Lateria’s love for dogs blossomed when she noticed the number of strays in her neighborhood. Befriending them and learning that any dog can be trained given the right love, compassion, and attention, Lateria began honing her skills without even knowing it.
After relocating to North Carolina and entering the world of corporate America, she found herself pet sitting and passing on her pet knowledge to colleagues and friends. Realizing that her hobby had evolved into a passion, Lateria took her knowledge and began Pawsitive Beginnings Dog Training
Through Pawsitive Beginnings, you can expect your dog to be in the hands of a trainer who is loyal, honest, and patient with you and your pet. Through personalized training and coaching, you and your dog will develop a long-lasting relationship that will span through the years. Lateria’s goal is to fine-tune the communication with you and your dog by helping you understand the best ways your dog responds. Hugely different from your standard dog trainer, Lateria has mastered this communication and has no need for clickers, shock collars, or treats. This will allow owners to be able to reproduce her results at home organically. Any breed, any age, she can provide the same loving and trustworthy service that will allow you to see the growth and progression of your dog/s.
